Casino Hold’em 2023

The Casino Hold’em game is a variation of the well-known Texas Hold’em poker. The big difference is that this variant is not played against other players, but only against a dealer of the online casino . The other differences are minimal, including an extra bet and pay table. The goal of Casino Hold’em is to beat the dealer’s hand. The player and the dealer both receive two cards in the beginning.

Five cards are placed on the table and both the player and the dealer may use them. The best poker hand eventually wins the round. The hand consists of five cards in total. As long as each player uses his own two cards and the five from the table, only the best possible 5-card hand counts out of a total of 7 cards that can be used. The hands are compared after each round to see who made the best poker hand rank.

The playing cards

Online Casino Hold’em is played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards. The cards are reshuffled after each round. The card values from highest to lowest are: Ace (A), King (K), Queen (Q), Jack (J), 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2. In some situations you use the Ace as the lowest card, lower than 2. All suits such as Hearts, Spades, Diamonds or Clubs are the same and offer no added value.

The game of Casino Hold’em

The poker game Casino Hold’em starts after you place an “Ante”. You can participate in the hand with this bet. When you are done with the Ante, you can press the “Deal” button to receive the first tickets. The first step is to receive two cards and the dealer deals himself two cards face down. Next, three cards are also placed on the table face up.

After receiving your two cards and seeing the “Flop” (first three cards), you must decide whether you want to continue playing with your hand and choose the following options:

  • Fold: Discard your hand by clicking the “Fold” button. You lose your Ante bet and the game is over.
  • Raise: You can increase the bet by clicking the “Raise” button. This places an extra bet, twice as much as the original Ante bet. Now two more cards follow, also called the “Turn” and “River”.

When all five cards are on the table, the dealer will reveal his cards. The best hand is made up of a combination of your own two cards and five cards on the table. The same goes for the dealer’s hand. The hands are now compared and the highest one wins the game.

Nice game tip for in between: Also try out Pai Gow Poker or Caribbean Stud poker .

You can also choose to place a side bet, also called the AA bet. To place an AA bet you must first determine how much Ante you are going to bet. Then you can click on the AA circle and place a bet there. The AA bet counts your own two cards and the three cards on the flop that are dealt in the first betting round.

The AA bet is not related to any other results or cards dealt. You may lose a round by having a worse poker hand than the dealer’s, but you can still win money with the AA bet, and vice versa of course.

The game results

  • Dealer can qualify with a hand from a pair of fours or higher.
  • If the dealer does not qualify, you automatically win. In this case you will receive the Ante bet back and you will be paid according to the pay table and the “Call” bets (twice your original bet) will be returned to you.
  • If the dealer qualifies and your hand beats that of the dealer, you will receive your Ante bet based on the poker hand you have. The “Call” bet pays 1 to 1.
  • If the dealer qualifies and beats your hand, you lose all bets (Ante and Call).
  • If the dealer qualifies and both hands are equal, you will receive all bets back.
